The mortgage survey is a research activity, carried out through the data of the Real Estate Registry of the Revenue Agency, which allows to determine whether a subject, natural person or legal person, is the owner of real estate, through the verification of the transcripts to favor and of the transcripts against this subject, as well as to identify the presence of encumbrances on the same real estate.

The liens can consist of: legal mortgages, judicial mortgages, voluntary mortgages and subpoenas.
